Planning application granted for Brabazon Park

The largest new urban public park in the South West for over 50 years has received planning permission, with landscape architects Grant Associates leading on the public space design for Brabazon Park, set to be a modern reimagining of Britain’s historic tradition of urban parks and the beating social heart of Brabazon.

Green City Kigali: an important milestone on the road to more sustainable green cities

Croydon’s Queen’s Gardens reopens with revitalised landscape focus

Heritage gardens at the heart of Croydon town centre have reopened to the public following major renovations. The Queen’s Gardens, which connects Croydon’s Fairfield Halls and the Town Hall for pedestrians and cyclists, has been officially unveiled for public use, and now includes revitalised green spaces and a new play area sensitively integrated into the sunken gardens.

Celebratory Superbloom display opens at the Tower of London

The Tower of London is set to be encircled by a thriving new natural landscape this summer in the biggest transformation of the historic moat in 150 years. In a project led by Grant Associates for Historic Royal Palaces, 20 million seeds have been sown in the Tower’s moat to create ‘Superbloom’, a floral display and haven for wildlife and biodiversity.

The landmark redevelopment of the former ITV studios on London’s iconic South Bank has been granted planning approval by Lambeth Council. Developer Mitsubishi Estate and development manager CO—RE will transform the 2.5-acre site into a new commercially-led mixed-use development which prioritises wellbeing and sustainability, targeting completion in 2026, in partnership with pioneering landscape architecture practice Grant Associates.

‘Queen’s Garden’ to be created at Tower of London as part of Superbloom celebration

A ‘Queen’s Garden’ will be created at the Tower of London this summer as part of Historic Royal Palaces’ Superbloom display. The concept for the garden, developed by Andrew Grant and James Clarke of Grant Associates, draws on the colours, shapes and motifs employed by famed British couturier Sir Norman Hartnell Hartnell for The Queen’s 1953 coronation gown.
